The curve is improved since 7:15AM, showing some signs of resilience.  It's still quite a volatile session, so if you choose to float, please be ready to lock at a moment's notice.  There's no telling where the rest of the day will go, but MBS are still within 2-3 ticks of yesterday's highs.  If one had to guess based on current market data, it seems more likely that MBS will decline into the afternoon, but this is not a certainty.  If you are able to lock quickly, floating is still acceptable.
